What is a UPI payment link? +
A UPI payment link opens a UPI app with your VPA — and optionally an amount and note — already filled in. The payer just confirms. It's the simplest way to collect money without a payment gateway.
Is there any fee to receive money? +
No. UPI transfers carry no charge to you or the payer, unlike card or gateway transactions that often cost 2–3%. The link is free to create.
Which apps can pay my link? +
Any UPI-compatible app — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay and most banking apps. The link uses the standard upi://pay deep link.
Can I set an amount, or let the payer choose? +
Both. Leave the amount blank and the payer enters it. Set an amount and it's pre-filled in their app.
What does the expiry date do? +
If set, the payment page stops working after that date — handy for time-limited invoices. Leave it blank and the link stays active.
