Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
UPI Links ("we", "us", "our") operates the website upilinks.in and the UPI Links Android app. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our service to create or open a UPI payment link.
2. Information we collect
When you create a payment link, we store the details you enter: your name or business name, your UPI ID (VPA), and any optional amount, note, or expiry date, so the link and QR code can be displayed to whoever you share them with. We may also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics.
3. What we do NOT collect
We never see, store, or have access to your bank account number, card details, UPI PIN, account balance, or the status of any payment. Those interactions occur entirely within your UPI app and your bank's systems.
4. How we use information
We use the information you provide solely to generate and serve your payment link, to operate and improve the service, to respond to support requests, and to keep the platform secure.
5. Advertising
We display advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage ad personalisation through Google's Ads Settings. We also show our own banner promotions on the home page.
6. Cookies
We and our advertising partners use cookies for functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. The details you put into a payment link are, by design, visible to anyone who opens the link you choose to share.
8. Data retention
Payment-link records are retained so the links keep working. Links with an expiry date stop functioning after that date. You may contact us to request deletion of a link you created.
9. Liability for payments
Because we only provide a link and never handle funds, we are not responsible for the outcome of any payment. If money is sent to the wrong place or a payment fails or is lost, you must contact the person who requested the payment, or your own bank or UPI app provider, to resolve it.
