Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By using upilinks.in or the UPI Links app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What the service does
UPI Links lets you create a shareable link and QR code built from a UPI ID (VPA) and optional details such as an amount and note. When opened, the link launches the user's UPI app with those details pre-filled. That is the entire scope of the service.
3. We do not handle money
We are not a bank, payment gateway, payment aggregator, wallet, or escrow service. We do not collect, hold, route, settle, or refund any funds. Every payment is a direct UPI transfer between the payer and the recipient, governed by their banks and UPI apps and by NPCI rules. We have no visibility into whether a payment succeeds, fails, or is reversed.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for entering a correct UPI ID. An incorrect or invalid VPA may generate a non-working or "dummy" link, and any payment sent to a wrong UPI ID is your responsibility. You must only use the service for lawful purposes and must not create links to defraud, deceive, or harm anyone.
5. Disputes and loss of funds
Since funds never pass through us, any dispute about a payment — including non-receipt, overpayment, wrong amount, fraud, or loss of money — is strictly between the payer and the recipient. To resolve such issues, contact the requester directly, or raise a complaint with your bank or UPI app provider. UPI Links accepts no liability for any financial loss arising from use of a payment link.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Links with an expiry date stop working after that date.
7. Advertising
The service is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense and our own banner promotions. Clicking an ad takes you to a third-party site for which we are not responsible.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UPI Links and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any loss of funds.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated Terms.
